Responsibilities:

As a financial controller at Acme, you choose diversity. You work for different clients in different sectors, which makes your job very diverse and challenging. For both start-ups and scale-ups to international companies:
You analyze the accounting results and evolutions within the balance sheet and income statement. Based on these analyses, you draft standard reports that provide more insight into the financial figures than those available in the accounting system. You determine what additional information is needed to explain certain results
You report your analyses and reports to management and headquarters. You monitor cash flows and liquidities and help define KPIs.
Performing financial controls, making short-term (forecast) and long-term (budgets) forecasts is piece of cake for you. Variance analyses based on actuals, budgets and forecasts, advising on the efficiency of business processes for a solid financial position do not scare you.

Hard skills:

- you have at least two years of experience as financial controller
- You have a bachelor in accountancy-tax law or a master in economics or finance (or equivalent through experience)
- You have a thorough knowledge of Excel, pivot tables and dashboards
- bonus points if you have experience with BE GAAP & Sox, but not a requirement
- you speak some French or English, which makes communication in an international environment that little bit easier

Soft skills:

you are planned, stress resistant, accurate and have no problem with deadlines
You have strong analytical skills and like to keep an overview of the entire business
You communicate correctly and clearly because as financial controller you report to the management
You are cheerful, positive, want to excel in the job and enjoy sharing knowledge with colleagues
